Childcare
The Childcare Ministry at Mount Vernon Baptist Church is designed to offer parents a safe place to leave their children while they attend specific church programming. Childcare is traditionally offered for all of our Women’s Studies, Exercise Classes, Moms' Groups and special events. If you would like to attend a program but do not see it specifically offered, please ask, as we may not have recognized a time when there is a need.
Details
-
Children who stay for longer than an hour will be offered free play time, a Bible Story and age appropriate coordinating activities, as well as a snack.
-
Our facility is a peanut/nut free building and so all snacks offered have been checked to ensure their safety. Traditional snacks are animal crackers, goldfish and cheerios. Any time a special snack would be offered, parents will be notified at drop off.
- Drop off for all programs begins no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of the program and we ask that you come directly from the end of your program for pick up.

Childcare Workers
Do you love kids? Want to make a little extra cash? Need a flexible schedule? We are always looking for new childcare workers!
Programming is ever changing and each time we offer something, different people register for it, changing the number of kids we have in childcare, so working as a childcare worker does not offer consistent hours. However, if you would be interested in working as a childcare worker, I would love to meet with you and provide you with an Employment Application.
